Building Game Changers
Since 2005, First Tee – Metropolitan New York has been operating out of Eisenhower Park in Nassau County. The diverse program, serving nearly 1000 local youth yearly, uses the 3 historic golf courses at Eisenhower Park as well as the enormous driving range. Our model starts in the schools, where we introduce the game at local elementary physical education classes. FTMNY – Nassau County also serves local youth at other county golf facilities such as Cantiague Park. Our most recent project, FTMNY-Suffolk County was created with a partnership with the Town of Islip. We hope to change the lives of youngsters, from areas such as Brentwood, Central Islip and Bay Shore, through the game of golf and its inherent values. We are now happy to offer our amazing life skills curriculum and college preparatory programs all over Long Island.
