Building Game Changers
2009 Plainfield Country Club became the first private country club to establish a First Tee Program. First Tee – Metropolitan New York – Plainfield educates three hundred children ranging in age from 5 to 17 from Edison, Elizabeth, Newark and Plainfield. Among the many proud traditions of Plainfield Country Club, First Tee is a vibrant symbol of PCC’s commitment to its local community.
The mission of our program is to impact the lives of young people, particularly those in need, by providing educational programs that build character, instill life enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. First Tee – Metropolitan New York at Plainfield is proud to offer Path to College programs. This innovative program provides children from 4th grade until they graduate from high school the tools and support to manage the college application process. First Tee education team delivers PSAT, SAT, ACT support, financial aid guidance and individual tutoring and financial aid guidance.
Located at the Plainfield Country Club, the campus is under the leadership of Pete Aloisio & Bill Castner. Castner is a Master Golf Professional has who won the Junior Golf Leadership award from the NJPGA four straight years, and The National PGA Youth Player Development award recipient in 2015. He is also TPI certified in Junior Golf.
