Community
The Young Benefactors (aka YB) are New York City’s premiere community of philanthropically-minded, golf-loving young professionals who want to use their passion for the game to create a positive impact on the world around them.
Engagement
Members participate in fundraising events, community and volunteer outreach, and other programs to broaden awareness throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
Impact
YB’s mission is to maximize and extend the impact of First Tee – Metropolitan New York by supporting the academic infrastructure of FTMNY. All funds go to support the Path To College Program, which provides tutoring, advising, and SAT prep classes for members of FTMNY’s Youth Development Program.
Join the Community
YB’s pay a $150 membership fee, and have a $750 give/get commitment which they can hit by convincing friends to join, taking advantage of matching gifts by employers, and attending events.
Members get special invitations and discounts to YB events, as well as an official USGA Handicap through
FTMNY YB (on request only).
